How it works

Documents required for Canada visitor visa

Mandatory documents:

• Passport First and Last Page: Scan copies of the first and last pages are required.
• Income Tax Return: Include income tax returns or Form 16 for the last 3 years.
• Bank Statement of Last 6 Months: Bank statement reflecting sufficient funds to cover the trip cost for the last 6 months.
• Day-to-Day Itinerary: Include a detailed day-to-day itinerary of your travel plans.
• Flight Ticket: Provide copies of both onward and return flight tickets.
• Hotel Voucher: Submit a confirmed hotel accommodation booking or voucher for the entire stay in Canada.
• Cover Letter: Detailed cover letter indicating the purpose of travel, number of days, passport and travel details.
• Aadhaar Card: Submit a colour copy of the Aadhaar card.
• Photograph:
  • White background, size 35mm x 45mm
  • Face should cover 80% of the photo
  • No specs or sunglasses
  • Photos should not be older than 3 months
• Copy of Entry & Exit Stamps and Previous Visas:
  • Clear USA valid visa copy
  • Copies of entry and exit stamps from all countries visited
  • Scan copy of old passport (if applicable)
• Invitation Letter: Provide an invitation from Canada, stating passport details, purpose of visit, and accommodation details. Include employment proof of the invitee, valid resident permit/visa copy, last six months' bank statements, and proof of relationship.
• If Divorced: Divorce certificate
• If Widowed: Death certificate
• If Prior Visa was Rejected: Rejection letter
• Employed:
  • Salary Slip of Last 03 Month: Include pay slips for the last three months.
  • Leave Approval Letter:
    • A signed original letter on company letterhead granting leave, including relevant employment details: your name and position.
    • Your current salary.
    • Date of hire
    • Employer’s name, address and contact details
• Student:
  • Student NOC: Include a letter of Bonafide certificate from the educational institution.
• Self Employed:
  • Company Registration Proof: Provide any proof of self-employment or business ownership.
• If Funded:
  • Sponsorship Letter: Submit a sponsorship letter indicating the amount, relationship, and source of funds.
  • Sponsor 06 month bank statement: Include the sponsor’s last 6 months' bank statements.
• If Married: Marriage certificate
• Optional Suggested Documents:
  • Proof of investments
  • Proof of assets owned
